Oak zasvětil studiu Pokémonů celý svůj život, a má proto rozsáhlé znalosti o všem, co Ashe zajímá. Bohužel ten se toho ale od profesora mnoho naučit nestačí, jeho cesta do Pokémonové Ligy ho zavede daleko od domova...
Rakeťáci- Společnost zlých trenérů Pokémonů, kteří mají jediný cíl - ovládnout všechny Pokémony, a hned potom ovládnout celý svět. Jesse a James jsou významní členové této skupiny, a spolu se svým mluvícím Pokémonem Meowthem se trvale pokoušejí zastavit Ashe, a především chytit jeho Pikachu.
